Villa Anna is set beneath two 36 year old pine trees off a private driveway that is shared with two other quiet villas, and is fully furnished inside and out and ready to occupy. You are a 5 minute walk from the nearest beach Bar and Restaurant and 10-15 minutes walk from the local beaches. There is a TV & DVD player, a library of DVDs/books/tourist guides and boardgames. LAYOUT: The villa has a three-aspect garden and a roof terrace that allow you to find peace and quiet from even the biggest family or group. Garden furniture, seats, sun-loungers and tables are provided for your use during your stay. There is ample parking space for two cars behind the lockable gate and the garden is landscaped with a variety of indigenous plants and cacti, wooden cartwheels, palms, pines and benches. This very light and spacious house (habitable surface area 145m2) is on the outskirts of a village close to the market town of Riscle. There is a large garden mostly laid to lawn, but there is a meadow which has an old stable and crofter's cottage. The land goes right the way down to the river, where the current owner has a small dinghy and enjoys going swimming. We took the half day Boat trip out which takes you to one of the outlying islands (about 30mins away) to swim and experience a ‘mud bath’ and they provide a BBQ dinner onboard before heading back to the resort. Was definitely worth it - we could sunbathe on the boat or swim in the sea when anchored up but it was most memorable for the views of the coastline and refreshing sea breeze! We visited Kalkan by boat from the resort (3lira pp) and by taxi (10lira) – only a few minutes away for restaurants and to browse around the shops. The harbour is perfect for people and boat watching. We also spent a day at Patara Beach, just 15mins away by car. The beach has good facilities and is vast! Although we only stayed 4 nights, we didn’t feel rushed as the atmosphere at the resort is very relaxing and tranquil. We would definitely recommend staying at Palm 235 at Patara Prince Resort to anyone looking to stay around the Kalkan area and we look forward to returning there ourselves. The inside dining area is great for a meal, if the temperature gets too much. And most importantly! The patio area is an ideal place to relax, enjoy a drink, and watch the sun setting at the end of a day. Would definitely recommend.
