We work quite long hours, and are rarely home during the day giving you a chance to chill out. • About Our Home • The house is a 4 bedroom fully air conditioned home with way too much space for 2 people. That's why we're listing on here! Our home backs onto a rainforest stream, and we live in a relaxed, safe suburb of Cairns (Forest Gardens) with lots of walking tracks. The bus stop is just a 30 second walk from our house. We also have a very small friendly puppy who loves cuddles, pats and walks. You will be in a guest bedroom in our home, with a Queen sized comfy bed, fluffy pillows and with lots of privacy. We have plenty of room for a couple. Your room has a built in wardrobe, a bedside table, an alarm clock, air conditioning, ceiling fan, complimentary port or liqueur, fresh clean linen and lovely towels. There is a separate bathroom and toilet just outside your door. We provide toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, soap and toothpaste in case you forget to bring yours. We also have big beach towels in case your want to head to the Esplanade Lagoon, or if you're going out to the Great Barrier Reef. We provide everything you would be used to at home; kitchen, TV, wifi Internet, laundry, linen etc. We recently bought a Wii! It's just like sharing a house with friends, so if you need anything you can just ask. Short term or long term visitors are no problem. • About Our Friendly Service • As a host we are as interactive as you would like us to be. If you would like to be very talkative and tell us about your home we are very encouraging! Equally if you're here just for a private holiday and would prefer us to be just a place to sleep, that's ok too. Free Airport Pickup We are more than happy to pick you up from the airport. We do not charge for this but understand how stressful arriving at a new destination can be, and we like to meet you and take the stress and bother away at the start. The house is named “Wannawong”, which is Aboriginal for “place on the side of a hill”.
